Acoustical Consultancy Services
Yarramine provides a range of acoustical consultancy services in the monitoring, assessment, and management and control of primarily environmental noise, in both Queensland and NSW in particular.

Development approvals often require noise impact assessments where sensitive uses located near noisy areas (e.g. busy roads, railways, industry, or airports) or where a proposed use can impact on neighbours, such as new industrial or commercial development or new/upgraded infrastructure such as road, railway or aircraft.

Our site-specific assessment reports discusses the relevant noise criteria to be achieved, identifies noise mitigation measures and recommends options to achieve the required design criteria.  Our most common acoustical consultancy services requested include:

  • Noise & Vibration Impact Assessments for new developments and compliance purposes involving noise monitoring, modelling and assessment to illustrate immediate and long-term effects of noise on and arising from the development or demonstrate compliance.
  • Road Traffic & Rail Noise Assessments – QDC MP4.4 Transport noise corridor assessments for new buildings, renovations, house relocations near state controlled roads (& council designated major roads).

For further information and to discuss your noise assessment and reporting needs please contact us on 07 4698 2335.
