Last week, Principal Environmental Scientist, Nigel Kimball delivered two JAGER PRO M.I.N.E.™ Feral Pig Standard Trap Kits recently purchased by Desert Channels Qld to Longreach in central western Queensland.
Along with the delivery of the first two trapping systems in the region, a one day demonstration workshop was held at the Longreach Pastoral College involving participants from several local governments from the region as well as landholders, college students and local departmental staff who were all eager to see first hand how the trapping system worked.
The two traps purchased by DCQ will be soon put into rotation as part of a landholder loan scheme in the region and we are looking forward to following their future trapping successes.
18-56 Flexi Trap Panels Now Available
Mid last month we received out latest overseas shipment of 18-60™ Flexi Trap Panels to replace out dwindling stocks of 16-56™ Trap Panels in our warehouse. As you might suspect given the different name, the dimensions of these new panels differ slightly to the existing 16-56™ Trap Panels. They are slightly taller (1524mm as opposed to 1400mm) but still 16ft (4875mm) long and made from slightly thinner galvanised rods (5.56mm (4 gauge) as opposed to 6.3mm).
They of course still contain the graduations at the bottom to hold in juvenile pigs. The savings from this bulk shipment have allowed to pass on to customers a substantially reduced price for these new panels - $110.00 per panel inc GST.
If you are in need of specific weld-mesh panels designed to hold even the youngest pigs to build or retrofit an existing box or other trap enclosure, and with over 200 now in stock, give us a call on 07 4698 2335.
